We have a variety of beautiful bathing systems and utility sinks that require minimal care to help them remain beautiful for years to come. To clean our products, we recommend non-abrasive, non-caustic cleaners for general cleaning. Please take special care not to use abrasive or caustic cleansers as they may damage, dull or even discolor the surface of your product.

WHIRLPOOL PIPING
Internal whirlpool piping must be cleaned regularly to reduce build up of dirt and soap scum within the plumbing system. A thorough cleansing should be performed weekly even if the whirlpool is used only as a soaking bath.

The following clean and purge procedure performed at least every week, if the tub is used daily, or every third use, if used intermittently or occasionally will help to keep the system cleaner.

1.) Fill whirlpool with warm water until water line is above the jets.
2.) Add 1-2 Tbsp of powdered or gel electric dishwashing detergent. To be friendly to our environment and save water, the detergent may be added to the tub after a bath use and before draining.
3.) Run the whirlpool pump and jets for 10 minutes then drain.
4.) Refill the whirlpool with fresh warm water until water line is above the jets.
5.) Again, run the pump and jets for 5 minutes.
6.) Drain

SPECIAL CAUTION
Use of a Rubber Floor Mat: Although not recommended, should you choose to use a rubber floor mat with any Masco Bath product, please be sure to remove the rubber mat after each shower or bath. Wipe the bathing fixture completely dry and allow the rubber mat to completely dry before re-use. Prolonged use of a rubber mat without properly drying after each use may and can cause fungus or mold to grow underneath the suction cups therefore damaging the bathing fixture surface in the form of surface blisters in the bottom of the tub or shower. Use of a rubber mat with any Masco Bath product VOIDS the warranty.
